BAY CITY -- The man accused of assaulting 4-year-old Carnel Chamberlain in June is due back in court next month.
Anthony Bennett is scheduled to be in Federal and Bay City Circuit Court Nov. 27, 2012.
Bennett faces a federal trial for assaulting Chamberlain, a charge that carries a five-year prison term.
He will then face five charges in circuit court,including two counts of assault, two counts of obstruction of justice, and one count of malicious destruction of property.
