62 additional Michigan State Troopers are being assigned to posts throughout Michigan. They'll be covering Flint, Pontiac, Detroit and Saginaw.
The cities are targeted by the governor's public safety efforts.
Of the 20 new recruits that will be assigned to posts throughout the area, Flint will get five and Bay city will receive seven.
They will graduate and be sworn in Friday.
