GRAND BLANC -- The Genesee District Library is partnering with the Girl Scouts of South Eastern Michigan to make resources readily available.
Saturday, organizers were celebrating the partnership.
The Grand Blanc McFarlen Library hosted games and activities for girl scouts, their families and members of the community.
"We really wanted to find ways to engage them and really invite them in. Hopefully through programs like this there is an opportunity they will come back and maybe check out a book next time or get in a program," says Trenton Smiley of the Genesee District Library.
The library system hopes to engage kids and adults from all over Genesee County.
