SAGINAW -- A Saginaw citizens group organized a rally to inform and encourage local voters to get to the polls on November 6.
The Concerned Citizens of Saginaw along with the Northeast Saginaw Neighborhood Association hosted a "get out the vote rally."
Candidates were available to speak with voters.
Organizers of the event wanted to give residents an opportunity to learn more about the six proposals that will be on the Michigan ballot.
"I'm concerned about the energy. I'm concerned about collective bargaining and if the right of collective bargaining can be taken away or impaired. And there are proposals on there for that," says Larry Campbell of the Northeast Saginaw Neighborhood Association.
The 200 people attended the rally that took place at the 1st Ward Community Center.
