SHIAWASSEE COUNTY -- The Shiawassee County Sheriff's Office has arrested two persons after interrupting a burglary at Los Cuatro Amigos restaurant on E-M21 in Caledonia Township just after midnight on Wednesday morning.
Initial reports indicate that deputies responded to an alarm at Los Cuatro Amigos. Upon arrival, officials began to check the business when a vehicle was noticed attempting to flee the area.
A traffic stop was initiated on that vehicle which was able to be linked to the burglary. Following the traffic stop, an additional search of the area with a K-9 unit resulted in locating the second suspect who was then taken into custody.
At this point, officials believe these suspects are also likely to be responsible for the burglarly on September 28 at the same location.
The identity of the suspects is being withheld pending formal charging and arraignment.
