FLINT -- If you're in the market for a new house in Flint, Saturday could have been the day you found your dream home.
A partnership between the Genesee County Land Bank and the Salem Housing Community Development Corporation held an open house to show off eight newly renovated properties in Flint's Metawanenee Hills neighborhood.
In total eight homes were put on display, fresh with new kitchens, bathrooms, applicances and security systems.
"They're going to be great homes," said Salem Housing Executive Director Bill Hammond. "They're going to be sold for what they're appraisal price is and the person will get a tremendous bargain and they'll have instant equity."
The partnership allows Salem Housing and the Land Bank of Genesee County to offer affordable housing in Flint.
