SAGINAW -- Saginaw is boasting a brand new Army Reserve Center.

The 919th Transportation Company hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday.

The $12.9 million project is a "Grow the Army" construction project which works to transform and restation Army locations.

The new center consists of two buildings and replaces the existing Saginaw center.

It is located along North Towerline Road.

The 919th Transportation Company returned in 2011 from a year-long deployment in Afghanistan.
