HOWELL (AP) -- Authorities say a man arrested in a four-county shooting spree in Michigan will face additional charges on Friday.
Raulie Casteel was arraigned Wednesday on six gun counts in Livingston County. The prosecutor there predicted charges would come soon in some other of the two-dozen shootings last month that involved moving cars in communities near Interstate 96.
In an email to reporters, Oakland County Undersheriff Mike McCabe in Pontiac says he doesn't expect charges in his county until Friday.
Casteel was arrested Monday in Wixom.
Defense lawyer Charles Groh didn't comment when asked Thursday about the charges against Casteel.
Doug Mullkoff also represents Casteel and said during Wednesday's hearing that his client is a college graduate who's been married for 11 years and has no criminal history.
A district court judge set Raulie Casteel's bond at $2 million during Wednesday's hearing in Howell. He's suspected of 24 shootings, mostly at moving vehicles. They occurred in four counties beginning Oct. 16. One person was wounded.
Casteel's mother Lana Hunt has told the Detroit Free Press that she's worried he might be mentally ill but refuses to see a doctor.
