INGHAM COUNTY -- Fungal meningitis has killed another Michigan woman.

Health officials say an 88-year-old Ingham County woman is now the state's ninth resident to die in the national meningitis outbreak.

The illness has been linked to contaminated steroids from a Massachusetts pharmacy and was shipped to four clinics in Michigan.

Patients who became ill had received injections for neck or back pain.
