Giving away free turkeys
Thanksgiving is a time for families to get together. It's also a time when moms take over. Moms like the late Lulu M. Hurse of Flint. Her son Jessie wants everybody to remember her. He's giving away turkeys on Friday in her memory.
If you are in need of a turkey, head to the U of M Flint on Friday. The first 150 people in line will get a free turkey, thanks to Jessie. The turkeys will be given away at 4 pm. Jesse works at the school. He says he just wants to give back the way his momma did.
If you get one of those turkeys, Jessie want you to enjoy it with your family. And remember his mom, Lulu.
