FREELAND -- A state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a hug for Michigan State Police troopers working in Bay, Saginaw and Midland counties held it’s dedication ceremony this morning.

State Police vehicles lined the driveway of the 12,000 square foot post on Salzburg Road while a helicopter sat on the lawn.

Members of the Michigan State Police Honor Guard raised the US and State flags.

The pos opened in early October and a ground breaking ceremony was held in July 2011.
