The morning fog caused a deadly crash in Spaulding Township on Wednesday morning.

SPAULDING TOWNSHIP -- A two-car accident in Spaulding Township caused by the fog resulted in one death early on Wednesday morning.
Wednesday morning just before 7, 36-year-old Wendy Juillett and her two kids were traveling on Husen Street.
She attempted to turn onto east when she pulled into the path of another car.
Wendy was killed and her 12 and 15 year old children were taken to the hospital.
Nearby, neighbors say they heard the crash.
"I was on the computer and I heard the scrape and I thought it was a farmer next door doing something," says nearby resident Fred DeGroat.
In a tight-knit community like Spaulding Township police say the loss of one of their own does not go unnoticed.
"They are very good people very good residents of the township and we're gonna miss her," says Spaulding Twp Police Chief Jay Bruns.
Wednesday's harsh driving conditions played a big role in the fatal crash according to police.
"The fog was very thick very dense you had visibility of probably 20 feet in front of your vehicle and it's a weather-related accident," says Chief Bruns.
The two children were later air lifted to an Ann Arbor hospital where they are in stable condition.
The woman driving the other car did not suffer serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
