SAGINAW -- Multiple law-enforcement agencies were called to Paradise Funeral Home this morning after violence erupted at a 16 year old’s funeral.

According to NBC25's Josh Marshall, who was attending funeral services for Walter Riley III, a woman entered the chapel screaming just after 11 a.m. Attendees then rushed outside where several individuals were armed with guns, threatening people at the service.  According to onlookers outside the funeral home, shots were fired.

Marshall says a silver sedan then drove through the crowd and onto the funeral home's front lawn. Saginaw, Saginaw Township, Buena Vista Township, and Spaulding Township police were called in to control the situation.

Marshall says police spent several minutes searching the area for shell casings.

Saginaw police were on hand for the Riley's burial. We will have more on this story coming up on NBC25 News at 6 p.m.
