SAGINAW -- Law enforcement in Saginaw is working together with other first responders on how to handle worst-case scenarios.

Kochville Township Police walked through an "actual shooter drill" with the Saginaw County Sheriff's Department.

It gives local businesses like Glass Tender the chance to react in a controlled environment during a shooting situation.

"We need this training we need it as often as possible so when we get a business that's willing to let us come in to do the training we need it's very beneficial for the company and its employees and even more beneficial for us," says Saginaw County Sheriff William Federspiel.

The Saginaw County Sheriff's Department has, so far, completed three similar drills this year.
