Lisa Markin recounts what happened

NEWTOWN, CT. -- A Fenton native is one of the survivors of the tragedy at Sandy Hook elementary in Connecticut.

WDIV reports Lisa Marlin, who's a teaching assistant and a native of Fenton, was at the school when the shooting occured, that killed 20 students and 6 adults. 

Marlin described the shooting from what she heard in a small supply closet, that she and two co-workers were hiding in at the time.

Marlin says she knew 15 of the victims very well and called them wonderful kids. She helps out in the school lunch room.
