THETFORD TOWNSHIP -- A family of five is looking for a place to stay after their home exploded in Thetford Township Wednesday night.
Investigators and the family are stumped as to what caused the garage to blow up overnight.
Cynthia Roberts lives in a Thetford home on Center Road with her husband and 3 kids.
The family was not home Wednesday night, but just before 11 p.m., they got news their garage exploded.
Multiple fire departments responded, fighting flames that had quickly spread to the living room and kitchen.
"Our minds were just going what's going on. What could've happen? Glad nobody is home. Its hard," said Roberts.
The cause of the explosion is still being investigated by police.
