Hazardous driving: slick roads make for dangerous morning commute

Local police agencies are advising motorists to use extreme caution this morning because of widespread black ice conditions on area roadways.

Shiawasee County 911 dispatch says at least 10 vehicles are in a dtich off I-69 and M-52. There are no reports of an serious injuries.

In Genesee County, 911 dispatch indicated at least 15 seperate accidents around 7:30 this morning. All due to slippery roads. One accident at Hill and Torrey involved three vehicles. A tree fell on one of the vehicles there.

In Bay County, Midland Road is partially blocked between Mackinaw and Fraser. There were (2) accidents this morning on Midland Road.

Other local counties are also reporting roads are slick becuse of the rain we recieved this morning.
