FLINT, MI -- Anyone seeking a Flint City Council nomination should head to the Flint City Clerk's office.

Prospective candiates will need to submit a petition with at least 100 registered voter signitures from their ward to the clerk's office by no later then May 14, 2013.

All nine Flint City Council seats are open this year, with a four-year term.

The primary election will be held on August 6, with the general election being held on November 5th.
