LANSING -- Majority Republicans in the Michigan house are laying out an action plan for steps they want to take in the next legislative session.

Speaker Jase Bolger says the GOP-led chamber now wants to tackle infrastructure issues, lower energy costs and streamline government.  Bolger says House Republicans met “almost 90 percent” of last year's goals, including the passage of the contentious right-to-work legislation, which spawned loud protests at the capitol.

In his recent State of the State address, Gov. Snyder said fixing the state's ailing roads will be his big to-do this year.
