MT PLEASANT -- The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Chippewa River below Mt Pleasent until Friday Evening.
As of 10:15 PM on Wednesday the stage was at 7.9 feet.
The offical flood stage is at 8 feet.
It is expected that the river will reach 8.3 feet.
Flooding is expected in Island Park and Nelson Park in Western Mt Pleasent.
