Work is being done on the bridge on James Road

SAGINAW COUNTY -- Construction on I-75 begins on Tuesday in order for work to be done on the bridge at James Road.

Beginning Tuesday night at 7 p.m., northbound I-75 will be closed at James Bridge until 7 a.m., with traffic being diverted to I-675.

The left two lanes on southbound I-75 will also be closed in order to allow for beam setting over the northbound lanes.

On Wednesday night starting at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m., southbound I-75 will have the left two lanes closed, with intermittent 15-minute closures occurring from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The southbound I-675 ramp to southbound I-75 will be closed with traffic detoured to nothbound I-75, where traffic will be diverted to M-81, then detour back to southbound I-75.
