FLINT -- First responders from across Genesee County are going head-to-head at Perani arena. The emergency responders are hitting the ice in the Battle of the Badges faceoff.

The charity event raises money for the burn unit at Hurley Medical Centers. This year is the first time the event is being held at Perani Arena. The normal venue in Burton closed last year

"My future son in law is in the fire department. The game is pretty good, the fire department is obviously on fire. They are up four to one and the police department, they look pretty weak,” says Ken Mitchell.

Tickets to The Battle of the Badges are also good for the Michigan Warriors game tonight against the Port Huron Fighting Falcons.
