FREMONT TOWNSHIP -- Michigan State Police say that a Mayville woman died after her vehicle crashed into a tree.
It happened Sunday around 7:20p.m. along Saginaw Road near the intersection of Gorden Road in Fremont Twp.
Officials say the 55-year-old woman's car was heading East when it drove off the left side of the road and hit a tree.
The woman wa taken to St. Mary's Medical Center where she died.
Police are investigating the accident.
