FLINT -- The Flint Area Chamber of Commerce is going to discuss allegations of corruption by the government in Flint.

Eric Mays will be the featured speaker.

Mays will talk about how he was arrested at a Flint City Council meeting for exceeding his allotted 3 minutes of speaking time.

That case is scheduled to conclude tomorrow at the Genesee County 67th District Court.

Mays was protesting tax breaks given to properties in Flint, claiming that those breaks were given to friends of then Emergency Financial Manager Michael Brown.

Michael Brown is now the city administrator and Ed Kurtz is the Emergency Financial Manager.

The meeting will be at Alexander J's Smokehouse located at 5490 Fenton Road in Flint.

Lunch will begin at 11:00 AM with the program beginning at 11:45 AM.
