BAY COUNTY -- The Bay County Habitat for Humanity is celebrating their 44th home for a needy family. The Risk family of Bay County celebrated a ground blessing Saturday.

They are the 44th family to become homeowners thanks to Bay County habitat.

The house on Broadway is almost done and it's taken about a month to refurbish. Angela Risk, the new homeowner, is thrilled.

"It was fun.  We came in here and were fixing it up and it looks a look 100-percent better.  It's a good program they give people who don’t have very good credit, they give them houses,” says Risk.

Angela says she'll move in this June.
