HOLLY -- Evan Wells of Fenton was sentenced to 50 months to 40 years after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter, as well as being told to pay restitution in the amount of $2,161.80.

In October of 2012 Wells punched Ronald Smith in the face during a fight at Martini's Bar and Grill in Holly.

Smith then fell and struck his head on the cement patio at the bar.

Smith never woke up, and died three days later.

Sentencing took place at the 6th Circuit Court in Pontiac.
