MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP -- Police in Mt. Morris Township are investigating a suspicious house fire Wednesday evening.  Firefighters responded to a fire at a home in the 3100 block of Myrtle Ave., just west of Clio Rd., around 7 p.m.

The fire chief tells NBC25 it appears someone broke in through the back of the house and set the fire.  The house was being remodeled and no one lives there right now.

The back bedroom suffered significant damage.

There is no word on any suspects at this time.
