LAKE FENTON -- The Lake Fenton School District is moving forward with the idea of putting a police presence in its schools.

The school board has agreed to using middle school office space for the Genesee County Sheriff's department.

It is hoped the district can put a mini police station in service.

Officials say the move wouldn't bring any added costs to the sheriff's department, the township or the school.
