FLINT -- Celebrate St. Patricks Day with the Flint Downtown Development Authority. They are hosting a free party on the University of Michigan-Flint flat lot from noon till 8 p.m.

Join Grand Marshal Mr. Patrick O’Reilly downtown with Mass of St. Patrick at St. Michael’s Church at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Saginaw Streets at noon.

Following Mass, the Irish Family Walk down Saginaw Street McFarlan Park, to raise the Irish flag as well as lay a wreath in remembrance of their ancestors.

At 2 p.m a St. Patrick’s Day party at the Catholic Charities Reception Hall will feature Irish dancing, food and music.

Wrapping up the evening, a St. Patrick’s road race. The Lil Blarney Trot starts at 4:30 p.m, the four mile fun run at 5 p.m and a four mile walk shortly after.
