Did you ever want to blow up the kitchen? Not literally, but using special effects like they use in Hollywood? Here's how.

Mike Jingles from Verizon Wireless in Saginaw Township, showed viewers of NBC 25 Today an app called Action Movie FX. Download it here. www.actionmoviefx Here's how it works. Take a short video with your cell phone camera or I pad camera. Then add the effects. And presto: you have a scene out of a movie. Jingles took joy in "blowing up" the kitchen on NBC 25 Today and the weather center. Remember, this was all make believe. He didn't actually cause an explosion.

For people who like to make things go BOOM, this app's for you.
