SAGINAW -- Police in Saginaw say they're looking for whoever gunned down a 16-year-old boy in a vacant lot.

The shooting occurred in the 3300 block of Rust Street on Friday afternoon.

Area resident Chad Davis says he heard about seven shots that afternoon. Davis says he was riding in a vehicle an hour later when he noticed the teen's body lying in the lot with at least two gunshot wounds. Police say emergency crews found the youth dead at the scene.

Police told NBC25 the victim died moments after paramedics arrived on scene.  The victim's names still has not been released, pending notification of family.

No suspect information has been released.
