FLINT -- Change your plans, if you are set to fly east on Monday.

Reports indicate almost 7,000 flights are cancelled because of Hurricane Sandy. It is also estimated airlines will loose $600,000,000.00  with this weeks storm interruptions.

All flights are on schedule at Flint Bishop International Airport. That is because there are no east bound flights taking off from Flint.

Be aware if you have layovers in places like Detroit and Chicago. Major airline carriers such as American, Jet blue and Delta are planned to cancel all flights in and out of 3 major New York airports. United airlines confirms they have suspended New York flights until Tuesday evening.
