SAGINAW -- Police in Saginaw say a man is dead following a shooting this afternoon on the city's South side.
When officers arrived, they say they found the body of a 27-year-old man who had been shot in a parking lot.
Paramedics declared the man dead once they arrived on scene.
Police aren't releasing the victim's name right now pending notification of the family.
There have been seven other instances of violent crime in Saginaw County in the past week that saw 10 people injured and one person killed.
