OWOSSO -- Two men are charged after Owosso police say they were allegedly drag racing in pickup trucks northbound on Shiawasee Street and killed 55-year-old Darrell Hall.
Police say 20-year-old Charles Mitts and 19-year-old Kevin Hart are charged with one count each of wreckless driving causing death.
Owosso police say the drivers hit a Chevrolet Cobalt when it pulled out left in front of them, killing 55-year-old Darrell Hall.
The accident happened shortly after noon on Thanksgiving Day.
The two 19- and 20-year-old suspects are in police custody. One of the suspects fled the scene but was later found by police and arrested.
