His vehicle caught fire
COLFAX TOWNSHIP -- A Huron County man was killed yesterday after crashing into a semi-truck in rural Colfax Township.
The sheriff's department says 29-year-old Brant Anderson of Pierson was eastbound at a high rate of speed on Pigeon Road when he collided with the semi-truck hauling steel, which had just turned west onto Pigeon from Pennebog Road.
When Anderson hit the truck, his car caught fire.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was not hurt.
