FLINT -- A temporary Summer pavilion will be constructed in Flint this Summer.

The structure was designed by a team of architects and designers based in London.

The group won a contest hosted by the Flint Public Art Project and the Flint Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

The organizations called for architectural firms to design a structure that would be built on Flint's central downtown parking lot.

The winning proposal is called "Mark's House" and symbolically tells the story of a Flint resident whose family loses a home to foreclosure.

The pavilion will open to the public June 14.

We spoke with one of the organizers, Stephen Zaks, on NBC25 TODAY.

The group plans to make the formal announcement later this morning.
