Dogs are specially trained in Fenton

Meet Ditto. Golden Retriever. Pal to many. Life saver.

Ditto is one of the dogs specially trained at Paradise Dog Training in Fenton. Their service dogs can be trained to perform many tasks: alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair or ever protecting people who are having a seizure.

Jack and Laurie Grigg have been training dogs for more than 30 years. Laurie says Ditto is specially trained to help someone who is having a diabetic seizure.

Ditto can smell a problem is occuring and quickly alerts the owner. Recently, Genesys Regional Medical Center held a special seminar featuring this very topic. Yes, dogs can help save lives.

Other dogs are trained to call 9-1-1 (not literally) by using a special phone. If you need more information contact Jack or Laurie at http://paradise-dogtraining.com/
