TAYLOR (AP) -- Michigan authorities have released the name of a 73-year-old Alabama woman who was killed in a trailer fire in suburban Detroit.
Taylor police Chief Mary Sclabassi said Friday that the dead woman was Dorothy N. Lash of Florence, Ala. The chief says investigators believe a space heater caused Thursday's fire.
Authorities say the pre-dawn blaze broke out in one home and spread to two others nearby.
The fire department says one other person was injured in the blaze.
Lash was visiting family for the holidays.
