SAGINAW -- A mother's cry against violence in Saginaw comes to the Temple Theatre.
Tiffanny Goodman lost her 18-year-old son, Ste'von Goodman when he was fatally shot three years ago in what police call a case of mistaken identity.
Now, she's spreading her message to encourage others to take a stand.
Goodman is the writer, producer and director of the show called "Speak up, Speak out-A Mother's Cry Against Violence."
She hopes the piece will inspire the community to act and bring information to the police concerning her son's death and other crimes.
"This play isn't just my cry but the cry of many other mothers and individuals in our community there's people that are tired of the murders. There were three within the last 24 hours and no one knows anything says anything so they say. So it has to end somewhere," says Goodman.
Goodman hopes to take the play to Flint in February.
