GRAND BLANC -- A local restaurant is doing its part to give back this holiday season.
Le Grand Bistro in Grand Blanc spent the day Monday providing a full five-course turkey dinner to feed those in need in Genesee County.
Former customers are volunteering their time.
The restaurant's owners say it's all worth it.
"Well my wife and I said the same thing last year, if at the end of the day we leave with tears in our eyes we know it worked. And we are going to leave with tears in our eyes because we are helping a lot of people that need it," David Eccles said.
This is the second year Le Grand Bistro has opened its doors for the free meals.
