SAGINAW -- Nexteer Automotive has shipped its 20 millionth electric power steering unit.
The automotive supplier sold its first steering system in 1999.
The 20th million EPS unitl was produced in Poland.
This announcement comes after Nexteer announced plans for a $70 million dollar investment and 325 new jobs at its world headquarters in Saginaw.
In 2011, Nexteer invested more than $200 million dollars globally to expand and update their EPS manufacturing capacity.
