HTH Week 5: Midland Dow remains perfect against Saginaw Heritage

SAGINAW -- The Midland Dow girls basketball team remains undefeated as they held off Saginaw Heritage 53-38.

Josie Query had a team high 17 points for Midland Dow. Jade Abenth for Heritage had a team high 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Midland Dow remains perfect with a record of 16-0.

Fenton also stays perfect with a win over Swartz Creek 69-45.Fenton goes to 14-0 while Swartz Creek falls to 10-2.

The Fenton girls team also gains a win over Swartz Creek 48-44.

The Montrose Rams controlled the game as they win against Flint's International Acadamy 85-64.

Our in-depth story of the week featured the Davison and Carman-Ainsworth girls bowling teams. Both are doing very well in the Saginaw Valley Conference with the top five players on the teams rosters. Davison remains undefeated and has a good chance at going all the way. Carman-Ainsworths Shamonica Simon is ranked at number one in the conference.
