MT. PLEASENT -- ****Update****
There has been another robbery in Mt. Pleasant.
According to crews on scene the robbery occurred at the Cash Advance on the corner of Mission and Broadway.
Police tell NBC25 News the suspect who was wearing a dark coat, black and blue flannel shirt, and a hunter's cap with baseball cap brim fled the scene on foot. The suspect also had a handgun.
Police also said the suspect matches the physical description of the suspect police believe was involved in four other robberies from over the weekend.
According to the Mt. Pleasant superintendent's office, all Mt. Pleasant Public School buildings were locked Monday and students were kept inside as administrators screened all outside visitors as police searched for the suspect.

Police are investigating four robberies that happened over the weekend.
It is believed they are connected.
On Saturday there was a robbery at 1717 S. Mission at Advance America Cash Advance.
On Sunday there was another robbery, this time at 1324 W. High Street at Next Door Foods.
Later that night at about 11 p.m. there was a third robbery at 203 N. Mission Street, which is a Subway Restaurant.
The Mt. Pleasant Police are investigating those three robberies.
Also early Saturday morning there was a theft of another Next Door Foods in Union Township.
The Michigan State Police are investigating that robbery.
The Mt. Pleasant Police are asking the public for any information about suspicious persons or vehicles.
