Monday on NBC25 News at 6 p.m., Bill Harris introduces us to Willie Little, a Flint man who hopes other men can learn from his battle with prostate cancer.

NBC25 is teaming up with the McLaren Cancer Institute to offer free prostate screenings from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 at its facility on Beecher Road in Flint.

No appointments are necessary, drop-ins are welcome.

Prostate cancer affects one in eight adult males, but studies show early detection is the best preventive measure.

Willie Little of Flint can attest to the importance of early detection and treatment.
