Habitat for Humanity is getting a little extra hand. Displaced worker and homeless are being used by habitat to help with the blight issue in Saginaw. The city of Saginaw, the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, and Habitat for Humanity are working together to deconstruct abandon homes. Deconstruction means they will take the house apart piece by piece to save as much material as possible.

Habitat will also be hiring between 15 and 20 employees who are either homeless or formerly incarcerated.
