FLINT -- Flint Northern defeated Carman Ainsworth 51 to 46, despite only having a seven player roster.

Michael McFadden had a game high 20 points for Northern and Denzel Watts was the leading scorer for Carman with 14 points.

Our in depth story of the week featured the Saginaw Sting and its owner Stuart Schweigert.

Stuart recently became the commissioner of the the CIFL and is trying to brand not just the Sting, but the entire league. As a former NFL player, Stu knows the importance of community outreach and marketability. He wants to level the playing field for the entire league in order to gain more fan attendance.
