BIRMINGHAM -- Heartfelt congratulations going out to NBC25 morning anchor Joel Feick who has been inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts and Science's "Silver Circle."

It is a prestigious broadcast honor given to men and women who have been in Michigan television for at least twenty five years and, more importantly, who have made significant contributions to the industry.

Joel, who is an Emmy-award winner and began his career in Michigan television in 1983, was inducted during ceremonies held Sunday afternoon in Birmingham.

Joel joins NBC25 6 o'clock news anchor Bill Harris and veteran Michigan news director Jim Bleicher, now overseeing the news operation of NBC25's sister station in Columbia, South Carolina, as members of the "Silver Circle."
