FLINT -- Four people have been shot and three confirmed dead at a home on the 700 block of Tacken Street on Flint's west side.

The incident occurred just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

Two men and a woman have been confirmed dead while another victim, a female, was able to make it out of the house alive and alert police.

It's the first triple homicide in Flint since 2009.

As of 11 a.m., the three dead bodies were still inside the house as police awaited a search warrant.

Officials have also confirmed that a possible suspect is in custody.

Michigan State Police also joined in on the investigation and their forensics team was on site assisting Flint Police.

Police Chief Alvern Lock was one of many officers on the scene.
