Will you watch the VP debate on Thursday?
ROCHESTER -- The political world focused on a candidate and a rock star last night as VP nomininee Paul Ryan and Kid Rock campaigned on campus at Oakland University.
It was Ryan's last public appearance before he debates VP Joe Biden Thursday night in Kentucky.
Kid Rock, who lives in Oakland County, was on hand to introduce Ryan to the crowd.
Ryan strongly criticized President Obama's handling of the crisis in Libya, while trying to bolster his Mitt Romney's foreign policy offensive.
The Wisconsin native also commented on the state of Michigan.
"We've all gotten knocked down, we've seen some carnage in the auto sector, know this, we want the strongest auto sector, we want American manufacturing to have a comeback and the way we do that is we stop sending all of our decisions to Washington with a government driven economy," said Ryan. "We do it by helping our manufacturers compete and grow good jobs and make sure they can make more things in Michigan and make more things in America and sell them overseas. That's what our manufacturing agenda is all about, strong manufacturing, low tax rates, good regulations, a good energy policy."
New polls in Michigan show the race between Romney and Obama is too close too call, although it's leaning toward Obama.
We're asking Facebook fans this morning their thoughts on the VP debate. Will listening to the vice presidential candidates sway your opinions on the presidential race?
