Skiers and snowboarders: your time has arrived.

Mother Natures fresh blanket of snow, has Mt. Holly open for business. The Oakland County ski resort, is just over the Genesee County line, in Groveland Township, along I-75. While it doesn't match the condition or views of Aspen, Vail or Snowmass out west, it does give local skiers a chance to quickly hit the slopes.

General Manager Mark Tibbitts says they've been making snow since Christmas Eve, so there's a great base to work with. He says beginners are welcome since they have plenty of ski intructors to help novice skiiers.

Conditions can change quickly (like the weather) but most runs are mow open and ready for fun.
